On the 1st and 2nd office floors at Aeschenvorstadt 56, 70 workstations were relocated from the old site of the "Basel-Stadt Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Office (Betreibung- und Konkursamt)". In addition to the normal office use, a customer zone with waiting area was created.
Two meeting rooms were planned on the 2nd floor. The small one offers space for 10 people, the larger one for a maximum of 18 people.
During the extension, 23 customer counters with high security requirements were expanded. They are accessed via the existing entrance on the ground floor
In addition, two unattended kitchenettes were built, one on the first floor and one on the second floor. The two accessible toilets, one on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor, were enlarged in accordance with the requirements of SIA standard 500. A shower for staff was also installed on the 2nd floor.
